Delete your account
Deletion happens entirely inside the app. No email, no support ticket, and no reason required.
In the app
- Open Faspond.
- Go to the Account tab and tap Settings.
- Under Data & Privacy, tap Data & Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm twice — this cannot be undone.
What deletion removes
- The account itself, and the identity behind it
- Every knowledge card, folder and question-and-answer pair
- Tone settings and preferences
- Anything writing-style learning produced
- Usage records
- The hashes and extracted text left by screenshot imports
For accounts created with Sign in with Apple, the grant is revoked with Apple at the same time, so Faspond no longer appears in your Apple ID settings.
What deletion does not touch
- Clipboard library contents — they were never uploaded; they are encrypted in this phone’s Keychain. Removing the app removes them.
- Messages you already sent — those live in your conversation with the other person, not here.
- Routine backups — data may persist briefly in database backups until that backup rotates out.
Message content and drafts were never stored in the first place (see section 3 of the privacy policy), so there is nothing to delete there.
If you no longer have the phone
Write to [email protected] with “Delete account” in the subject, from the email address the account was registered with. So that we do not delete somebody else’s account, we confirm the request comes from the account holder before acting on it.
Coming back later
You can create an account again at any time, but it is a new one: the old cards, tones and settings do not come back.
